Adele joined One Broker in 2018 bringing with her extensive experience working in a range of roles in the insurance industry. As well as building her knowledge of personal lines insurance, in particular in the High Net Worth sector, she has spent time as a Risk Survey and Valuation Executive, IT Trainer and most notably worked as a Business Development and Compliance Director. Outside of work, Adele enjoys swimming, listening to music and watching musical theatre.
Andrew came to One Broker armed with six years of experience working in the insurance industry. Having worked as an Underwriting Assistant and a Warranty Claims Assessor, he developed his excellent attention to detail and investigative mind-set which helps aid his problem-solving abilities. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, walking, exploring new places, watching wildlife and cooking.
Ashleigh joined One Broker in 2018 having previously worked as a Customer Response Executive for a national insurance broker. During this time she specialised in dealing with Landlord policies and property owner’s liability. Outside of work Ashleigh enjoys upcycling old furniture and giving them a fresh new look. Ashleigh also enjoys trips to the cinema.
Becky joined One Broker to support the Personal Lines team as an administrator. She has recently completed her studies at college completing a B-TEC in sport and ‘A’ level history, and is taking a year out before continuing her studies abroad. In her spare time, she enjoys playing and coaching football.
Carly joined us in August 2009 having previously worked in insurance for almost 5 years. She specialises in home insurance including listed and thatched homes and manages our self-issue Home Insurance scheme. She has experience in various personal lines policies including motor, travel, let property and musical instrument insurance. Carly continues to develop her knowledge of insurance and following success with the Certificate of Insurance is now studying for a Diploma in Insurance.
A Personal Lines Account Handler is responsible for looking after the insurance needs of individual clients. Whether that is motor, home, travel or pet insurance. At one broker we employ staff with a well-rounded knowledge of these client needs who will help customers to find the right policy for their needs and help should they need to make changes through the policy.
Jess joined One Broker in 2019 bringing with her thirty years’ experience of working in the insurance industry. Previously, Jess has held various Broker and Claims roles and is now working as a Broking Technician in the Norwich Personal Lines team as part of our commitment to the growth of the John Albion Scheme. Outside of work, Jess is a qualified Florist who enjoys spending time with her family and crazy Cocker Spaniel!
Joanne works within the Personal Lines division of One Broker and runs our high net worth account. She has over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry and is able to deal with motor, home & travel insurance. She has passed her certificate in insurance and is now studying for a diploma in insurance.
Joanna joined the company in 2004. She specialises in landlord and tenant insurance and maintains a good relationship with a number of major letting agencies. She also has experience of other areas of personal lines insurance including household, motor, musical instruments and travel. She has passed her certificate in insurance and is now studying for her a diploma in insurance.
Joanne joined us in 1997, bringing with her experience working in personal lines insurance and administrative roles. Joanne is a key member of our Cambridge personal lines team where she uses her customer service skills on a daily basis. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys reading, listening to music and going for walks in the countryside.
Lisa joined us in 2013 as a Personal Lines Broking Technician having previously worked for another local broker and comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. She currently lives in Norwich with her husband and 2 children.
Having previously worked as a branch manager for a leading insurance business, Rebecca joined our team bringing with her a wealth of experience of the industry. Rebecca also worked previously in a national claims department, and at One Broker, is a Personal Lines Manager. Outside of work, Rebecca’s interests include stock car racing, sewing and knitting for a premature babies charity, and converting her camper van.
Joining the One Broker team in 2017, Rob has become a welcome member of the team, bringing with him 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. Having worked for over a decade at a family run letting agent, Rob is Associate Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. In his spare time, Rob enjoys fishing, walking and spending time with his family.
Sharon joined us in 2003 and, in our John Albion team, has developed an excellent working knowledge of the thatch and barn schemes, including risk mitigation of thatched properties. Outside of work life, Sharon enjoys listening to music, dancing to salsa and the jive, plus supporting Chelsea FC.
Sharon has over thirteen years’ experience in Property Management. Sharon joined us in 2019 as an Insurance Administrator having previously worked at a letting agents in Ely. At weekends, Sharon enjoys taking her dog, Tilly, for long coastal walks and in her spare time enjoys flower arranging!
Shaun is a director of One Broker. He joined the company in 1996, previously working for General Accident, Direct Choice and Lifesure Group, gaining 20 years experience within the insurance industry. He personally manages private client insurance portfolios for high net worth individuals and manages our Personal Lines team. He holds a diploma in Insurance.
Vince joined us in 2015 with in excess of a decades insurance experience predominantly in the personal lines sector so he is well positioned for his role within One Broker. Outside of Insurance Vince has a keen eye for photography and likes to get out and about behind the lens when the British weather allows.
