Week three marks the end of One Broker Norwich’s bake off in support of Macmillan. After three weeks of intense competition, the final votes are in. The theme of the final week was ‘savoury’. We saw some impressive bakes, including: cheese and chive scones, a bacon and cheese quiche, red onion tartlets and a stromboli filled with mozzarella, chorizo, pastrami and prosciutto.

The judges, One Broker’s Samantha Read and Ashley Jones, have had their say. Week three’s star baker is Ian Digby, with his fantastic cheese and meat stromboli.

Ian was also the winner of the public vote for tastiest bake, while Karen Wilson won the best looking bake for her salmon, dill and onion patty quiche with homemade coleslaw.

One Broker’s three event bake off has been an incredible success. Not only did we see some incredible entries, but One Broker has also raised over £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The competition was fierce this year. Ian Digby’s impressive brownie recreation of Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard won week one, while week two went to Jo Baker’s meringue kisses.
